PROJECT TWO | part seven

While going through the design process we were directed to detail out four areas of our building. We decided to detail the spiral staircase, the material's library built-in, glass railing, and drop down ceiling panels.

Another aspect of our project that is a prominent feature are the drop down ceiling tiles we have installed. Each ceiling tile is three inches thick and the edges of each tile are curved in relation to the circle of the spiral staircase. The edges are also colored red to create a banding that runs through each space. The curved red wall also plays off of this curve. We have drawn up some floor plans to show this relationship within the space.
