With our second project of the year we are working with CBI (Carolina Business Interiors) in Durham, NC. They have bought an abandoned historical building and plan to make it a CBI showroom, mainly catering to DUKE University.
The first part of the project we were divided up into groups to explore the site. One presented on the climatic and geographical aspect, one on spatial exploration, one on the urban scale environment, and one on the history of the site.
